I think it was also understood that this was not him loosing his virginity as he had perhaps already had sex even earlier than this as in perhaps the year before. Who's to say and really know though besides him? Had he had sex only once before? Did he regularly do that as a ch-ild?! So I've had people tell me that people are not actually having real sex in R rated movies. I find this VERY hard to believe. So I am fascinated by what constitutes the differences between an R rated film and an NC-17 one? I suppose in some ways NC-17 is soft core where they actually are having sex but do not show penetration and ejaculation? Perhaps there are at least some if not many R rated films where they are having sex but it is edited in a way where it is kept some sort of a minimum though it certainly appears that one (usually the guy) of the performers if not both often will be shown to some extent going through orgasm (I would also say usually also understood to be penetrating the other person). I don't understand how this scene was allowed to happen and is not banned as in most places at least in the U.S. it is illegal for chil-dren to have sex on screen. Slater was 16 when this filmed. I LOVE it and he is gorgeous and while you don't see penetration (which confuses the shit out of me because I thought I did see that on the home video (while in school: see below in this post); could there be a different edit?) or ejaculation it is very hard to believe that they are not having real intercourse here. You can clearly see his penis right before it is inserted at 02'44". Were any of his parents required to be on set as he did this and orgasmed deep inside of her?! I would find that very hard to do with a parent watching me personally. I don't know if I could take it or that. I wonder...was this something that slipped through the system? Even so why is no one and tons of all the people involved with this film held responsible for it to this day? If I recall there was and has been quite a level of controversy of it in the past but has just been swept away to the dust bins of history? But even then people get held responsible for this years and decades later down the line. I think it is because so many people consider the film to be of significant artistic value and the stars are "too big" to be held responsible...I guess? That and it was wasn't that big of a hit so it wasn't noticed too much? Though I and someone else in my life were shown this in school and by my teacher and the other person's had no idea this scene not only was in it but that it was so graphic! My teacher was completely freaked out and horrified when this happened. I LOVED it but was very startled by it as well. I got very out of breath, lol. Tried to be quiet as possible when happened. I was probably soaking wet from sweat when we finished watching that day, lol.
